HURIWA, a human rights group, blamed the acting president for net lack of care and disregard to the predicament of the student, who had been in the imprisonment of their abductors for more than 50 days.
The group communicated the worry in a statement by its National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko, and National Media Affairs Director, Ms Zanaib Yusuf, requiring Osinbajo’s intervention.
The gathering bemoaned that the acting president was seen commending his better half’s brilliant celebration and going to high society wedding of the girl of the Ogun State senator and the child of a presidential associate, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, when such national cataclysm was yet to be settled.
The group, likewise, bemoaned that the Inspector General of Police (IG), Mr. Ibrahim Idris, and the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Alhaji Lawal Musa Daura, have neglected to disentangle those behind the kidnapping of the abducted students.
It included that it was generally detailed that the guardians of the abducted students “have been wheedled by the criminals to part with over N30 million but their kids are not liberated.
“The security drives particularly the Nigeria police force right under the order and control of the Presidency. Have breathtakingly neglected to protect these lamentable Nigerian school boys whose guardians have spend out more than 30 million naira ransom without seeing their kids
